It was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 in USA and soon it spreaded its legs into all continent of the earth. Initially started with online book store but soon started selling digital and electronics items and now a days almost all types of material can be bought from this site from anywhere in the world. It also produces consumer electronics like Amazon Kindle e-book reader, Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire Phones. 
              Its also the biggest cloud computing service provider with name of Amazon EC2 and many mores. Its has its separate websites for all countries like in India you can visit amazon.in.

               Flipkart
    , is an E-Commerce company and was established by Sachin Bansal and Ninny Bansal in 2007. Though it is registered in Singapore, but its headquarters are at Bangalore, karnataka (India).  Flipkart has launched its own product range under the name "DigiFlip" with products including tablets, USBs, and laptop bags.                    In May 2014, Flipkart received $210 million from DST Global and in July it raised $1 billion led by existing investors Tiger Global and South Africa's media group Naspers. Flipkart's last fundraising round in December had pegged its valuation at $12 billion.
                Its is the largest eCommerce market place in India and fastest growing eCommerce plateform. It has acquired around six companies in last few years along with some big names like letsbuy.com and Myntra.com. Myntra.com was acquired in around 2000 crore rupees in year 2014.

    Jabong.com is an Indian fashion and lifestyle e-commerce portal, selling apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, beauty products, fragrances, home accessories and other fashion and lifestyle products. 
              Jabong was co-founded by Arun Chandra Mohan, Praveen Sinha, and Lakshmi Potluri after which Manu Jain, and Mukul Bafana in 2012. Joined the organization later one.  The company is headquartered in Gurgaon, NCR. 
    The site started operations in January 2012. It was co-founded .

             The managing officers are Arun Chandra Mohan and Praveen Sinha. 
    In March 2013, Jabong was shipping 6000-7000 orders a day.  According to the The Economist, Jabong clocked gross sales of around US $100–150 mn in 2012.  As per the Livemint article, during September 2013 Jabong was shipping 14,000 orders on a daily basis out of which 60% were from small towns.
              Jabong was one of the most visited e-commerce sites during the Great Online Shopping Festival 2013. Company representatives claimed that its revenues increased five to six times compared to a usual day, and that Jabong set a record for sale in the male fashion category. In 2014, Manu Jain left Jabong and joined Xiaomi India.

           Myntra.com is an Indian e-commerce company of fashion and casual lifestyle products. It was founded by IITians Mukesh Bansal, Ashutosh Lawania and Vineet Saxena with its headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka in year 2007. Its focus was on personalisation of gift items. By 2010, Myntra shifted its focus to the online retailing of branded apparel.
              In May 2014, Myntra.com merged with Flipkart to competea against Amazon which entered the Indian market in June 2013.
             It was in the business of on-demand personalisation of gift items. It mainly operated on the B2B (business to business) model during its initial years. Between 2007 and 2010, the online portal allowed customers to personalize products such as T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, calendars, watches, teddy bears, pendants, wine glasses and jigsaw puzzles. Myntra provided home delivery within 3 days time.
    Within the initial 3 years, Myntra became India’s largest personalisation platform with more than 50% of the market share.
    In 2011, Myntra expanded its catalogue to include fashion and lifestyle products and moved away from personalisation. Myntra tied up with various popular brands to retail a wide range of latest merchandise from these brands. Myntra offered products from 350 Indian and International brands by 2012. Myntra also had casual wear for men and women from brands. The website saw the launch of Fastrack watches and of Being Human, the brand. 
    Myntra currently has more than 1000 brands with over 1,50,000 products that are delivered to around 9000 pincodes in India through its vast and efficient delivery network.

The company was founded in the Silicon Valley, USA in 2011.  It has over 12,000 registered merchants retail +2,00,000 products on the platform to over 42 million visitors every year across 9500 locations in the country.
    ShopClues joined as 35th entrant in the Indian e-commerce in 2011. The company employees over 350 people across locations.
