I recently visited delhi for some work, there I had to travel in trains, locals, metros and even in buses also...
I was supprised by viewing the differences in delhi railway and delhi metro...
1. The metro stations were so beautiful, we'll managed, planned and I can say the best of even not only delhi, but the best of country... on other side, delhi junction was so much ugly. Dirty. Crowded. Not only platforms but also the tracks were overcrowded...
The stinking platforms and people ready to take benefits of others were very much disgusting''
2. In metro.. the whole system is self helping to passenger and people also helps to new one, whereas in railway junction, i asked a person about platform of the coming train.. he asked for 50 rupees for just telling me a platform no..
3. In metro, no one can travel without ticket or in wrong coach whereas in Indian rail, people travelling in reservation coach are not able to breath properly because all general were also boarded reserved coaches...
So I came to conclude that one is best and other is worst in same city....
